Length of hose from compressor to underpinner

Hello,
I have a Minigraf 4 underpinner and a Hydrovane 501 compressor that work well together. As the weather gets better I want to be able to wheel the bench that the underpinner is on out of the workshop into the yard to work there but leave the compressor in situe . If I do this the underpinner and compressor will be about 35-40 ft apart.
My question is should this length of hose affect the pressure much or should it stay pretty constant and be hopefully unaffected ?
