Glass cleaning support

Post by Rainbow »

Does anyone use this glass cleaning support...

https://www.lionpic.co.uk/r/26182/Glass ... g-Supports

In theory it looks like a good idea, but is there a risk of the bumpers marking the glass? It doesn't say what the bumpers are made of.

Also, if the support gets a bit of dust on it, could it be attracted to the underside of the glass?

I'd be interested to hear anyone's experience of this gadget.

There used to be a member on here (somewhere down on the south coast) who had a black board with loads of those bumpers on, which was used to clean his glass, black because you can see marks much easier on black, he didn't seem to have a problem

Yes, this true. I think that this may be the thread;

I made my own from a piece of trellis from a DIY store and felt buffers which i use everyday on customers' frames.

it costa lot less that the Lion one and folds down for storage when not in use.
