I am wanting to upgrade my band saw to a better blade which is particularly suitable for resawing larger pieces of wood down to smaller sizes. My existing blade works well in obeche, but less well in pine. I an not so much concerned about cutting tight radiuses, as I am wanting to produce really good clean cuts when resawing. Any suggestions would be most helpful.
Many thanks,
Mark.
Can anyone suggest a real good supplier for top quality band saw blades?

Re: Can anyone suggest a real good supplier for top quality band saw blades?
Tuff saw blades are the best i have used. They are widely recommended by many woodworkers as the best around. They are also very helpful. I use my bandsaw mostly for ripping 3 and 4 inch timber and it takes a blade as wide as 1 1/2 inch. When i ordered, i spoke with them and they advised a 3/4 inch blade for ripping and said you don't need thicker really. They were right and the blade slices through oak absolutely true.
