Making vertical mouding racks.

Post by Not your average framer » Sat 24 Jul, 2021 7:58 am

I need to make some vertical moulding racks. I have limited space and limited supplies of materials with which tto make the racks. I do have some pieces of slat wall board appoximately about 1 metre square. These slat wall boards very easily split if you screw in to the end thickness of the boards. There is no possibility of securing anything in to the walls, with any chance of producing a reliable fixing, the walls are at least 400 years old and made of a material called cob, which is mostly mud, cow dung and flints.

Anyone got any suggestions, or photos please?
