how reliable are couriers at delivering orders on time these days.

Post by Not your average framer »

I've got to order various things for in my shop quite soon and was just wondering if I am going to be waiting for days and days, without knowing when my deliveries are going to turn up. Can anyone clue me in, what things are like these days please. I've rather been out of the loop for quite a long time since my stroke and later my wife's stroke as well.
Thanks.

In my experience of the suppliers I use - LJ, Simons, Lion, R&H order before noon delivery next day. Paid next day service (guaranteed) has got very expensive and I expect minimum order amounts for free delivery have increased somewhat since you were last ordering regularly. You definitely need to make sure your pricing is taking all this into account. Consumers are also expecting increased prices.

We get van deliveries from Centrado and Wessex which are never ever late. Fab service.

We get courier deliveries from mainline, dj Simon’s, Lion & Larson Juhl. They mostly use either Tufnell or Dx and locally both of these companies are very reliable, I can’t remember the last missed delivery (probably during COVID)
