I am a beginner at framing and have
just bought a Frameco MatMaster 660B.
The 90 degree angle cutter works fine
but I cannot get the bevel cutter (Model 201)
to work.
When I use the Allen key to lower the blade
it just stays in the same position so it
cannot cut any mat.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Frameco Bevel Cutter
Hi, welcome to the forum.
I started out with Frameco equipment. If you didn't get instructions with the machine check out their website for the instruction manuals. http://www.clubframeco.com/PDF/Instruct ... 60B_IS.pdf
The bevel cutter works by placing it on the mount board and pressing the handle downwards to lower the blade, then pushing forwards to cut the mount. The blade depth (how deep it goes into the board) is adjusted by the allen screw you mention. You can get some accurate cuts with it after a little practice.
Good luck.

Re: Frameco Bevel Cutter
Many thanks Gus.
I didn't realize you have to push
the handle downwards.
It's working fine now.
