Another unidentified moulding

Post by birdman »

Sorry folks, I've been asked to match yet another unidentified moulding. It looks similar to Simons HD/0032 (page 59 of their catalogue) but is narrower at about 45mm. The photo gives you an idea and I've tried to show the profile too. The frame that was bought in has to me a light teak effect in colour.

Grateful for a steer in the right direction if you have seen this one yourself.

Many thanks.

The closest I can find is an arqadia 360533100

But it is a walnut finish and not mahogany. 44mm and the same profile but I have to admit not as nice as your photo.

Alistair,

Many thanks. I had already checked the Arqadia catalogue with the customer but didn't spot that one. I'll ask for a sample to see what she thinks. It's certainly about the right width. Lion have one similar but only 35mm (L1741) and I have to thank Sarah at Scenes in Belfast for pointing out that one.

Once again tank you. The forum really is a great help to us framers isn't it?
