Post by Splitstop »

Hi total newiby and never framed before

I'm starting a frameing corse this weekend Bacis of frameing 2 day corse then a 3rd day next month on 3D frameing as mainly that will be my thing to frame boxing gloves this will be quite a long intro so sorry in advance

I have lots of frameing done and the people who do it are fantastic people and do a wonderful job

My problem my line of work basically I work 6 months weekends mainly then have 6 months off
I brake up Christmas week and don't go back till mid march I want to cover frameing the boxing gloves and pictures and still have them do my other stuff like boxing belts etc as they have become friends as well as business associates

I'm a show host and sporting memorabilia auctioneer I buy memrbilia through my business and auction it off for charity but as I'm out of work 6 months of the year it's a case of make Haye while the sun shines then
No income for 6 months and board out my brains

So far I've bought a

Morso Guillotine
A flecher Terry 3100
A logan platinum edge 855 Matt cutter
M3 under Pinner
Compressor
2 flecher tagging guns
Numerous rules squares hand tools etc

I'm renting a very small work shop off a friend a bit too small to be honest but should be enough to get me started hopefully will learn or get tips and advice off here

Thank you for letting me join the forum thanks in advance Nick
