Hi Harvey

Welcome to the Forum.

Carpentry skills have got to be an asset where framing is concerned and perhaps you should be considering "hand finishing" plain wood mouldings, lots of info, about that here.

Good luck in what ever you choose to do.

Peter

Can you point me in the direction of the hand finishing section please?

There isn't a separate forum for hand finishing but maybe there should  Search the posts by Prospero and NYAF for info about hand finishing techniques.

Hi Harvey

The small box on the top right marked "Search" type in "Hand Finishing" and over 1000 items re that subject are available.

Invaluable advice by Prospero and NYAF (and others) given so generously will give you so much food for thought.

Also, there is the "book mark" facility - to enable referring back.

Regards

Peter
