Wessex Pictures - who deliver by van to Cumbria certainly sell Arqadia mountboard & as a general wholesaler they probably have whatever you need from mouldings to glass etc...

www.wessexpictures.com

Take a look here to see - then if you prefer speaking to a real person - rather than ordering on line - I would suggest calling their Oldham branch on 0845 456 9972 to place an order...
It's not a secret - I work for Wessex Pictures & I'm here to help!!! you can email me at steveg@wessexpictures.com or call me on 07585 138566

Hi and welcome Diana,

As Keith says just order direct from Arqadia. They usually deliver next day to me up here in South Lakes. And if you require single sheets of their mountboard Wessex deliver up here usually on Thursday and sometimes Friday.

I see the moulding your interested in is bare obeche, are you into hand finishined frames? :D

Yes..I already tried them but they'd only deliver larger quantities. I'm just after a few 10ft lengths...thanks though

Hi there Keith...it's a bit odd actually...because I initially did try to do just that. After speaking to the first lady about it she said she'd be happy to dispatch 2 lenths at a time..I then called back to ask about having some chevrons sent first, but got a different woman who said I was to small an enterprize and I'd have to find a distributor in my area.. :head: .when I asked her who that might be she gave me a few numbers of possibles... but wasn't sure if they where shops or suppliers...I rang them all up any way with no joy....Then I decided I'd try arqadia again in the hope that I got the yes person...which I did...and successfully ordered my wood today....

Thanks for your help

I was going to mention that Rose & Hollis also do those profiles in obeche and they supply in single lengths, but I forgot, and you've now placed your order with Arqadia, glad you're sorted.

Diana,

Cut and paste the web address below into your browser.

http://www.framingmentor.com/second-hand/second-hand/keencut-proteus-mountboard-storage-bench

Then delete the space between framing and mentor and press return. Don't ask me why, but the forum software always inserts the space!
