A novel idea!

Post by Keith Hewitt »

I see Graham & Brown have started selling wall paper with printed frames all over :o

What a great idea to get people ( mostly young ones ! ) to put their photos and paintings in a frame (albeit printed) on their walls.

When I were a lad we had to scribble on the walls ourselves. :P

I like this picture frame drawing pad:

I've seen frame wallpaper before, but slightly different, this is not it, but it's similar:

and I really like this Japanese fabric:

The idea appears to be that you stick your picture onto the wall in one of the frames printed onto the wall paper, so people who have this wall paper won't be buying picture frames from you and me!

Not good for us framers! :(

I have one of these papers at the top of my staircase in a house i'm renorvating at the moment. Still need to decide if I want pictures in the frames though. It certainly created a talking point amongst my friends when I put it up.

I think we must be one of the few professions that actually do take our work home with us :D
