best way to carry samples

Hi All i often visit clients at there homes and want to know the best way to carry corner samples any ideas?

I used to carry around big A1 art folders with samples on an MDF sheet to customers houses. Did that for a few years before getting my shop. Bit bulky but worked ok.

I used to carry around a wallpaper pasting table which I had adapted. I took out the inside legs and then fitted a piano hinge up the side along with a couple of clasps to keep it shut.
Inside I put a couple of lines of velcro.
I reckon I got around 40 samples in this.

When I first started out I got a full set of Daler and Arqadia samples from Wessex, as I carried them around quite a lot I stacked them and drilled a hole through all of them and then looped a length of cord through the holes then tied it off securely, a bit like a large key ring, and it gave me a handle to carry them around by as well.

I've been thinking of offering a home visiting service too, so some very useful information here. Pramsay13's box photo is particularly helpful.

I was hoping to discuss the client's requirements on the phone beforehand and thereby cut down on the need to take so many chevrons. Does this work? Or do customers have no idea until they see something? Or change their mind when it is time for a decision?
