Hi folks,
Is wessex the only place to sell scratch resistant UV acrylic? I can find scratch resistant acrylic but seemingly not with the UV protection with it.
I buy Artshield from Wessex but it's the only thing I buy from them now.

Re: Scratch resistant UV acrylic
Thanks Robo.
I just spoke to our new Centrado rep who informed me that any cast acrylic is scratch resistant. There was I thinking I was buying a one of its kind product with Artshield, not to be found anywhere else. Sucked in by branding again.

Re: Scratch resistant UV acrylic
It's not my understanding that all cast acrylic is scratch resistant so I'd investigate further if I were you.
Suppliers also need to be careful how they describe things, glass isn't scratch resistant but you can get ABRASION Resistant acrylic which you can scratch, very easily!
From a specialist acrylic site.
"Cast acrylic is mostly suitable for people who require greater optical clarity and have applications which involve machining and/or laser cutting"
Otherwise as far as I know, it's no tougher than extruded and you have not been sucked in by branding at all.
