Hi All

There is probably a tread already set up for this, so sorry if there is.

Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year to you all.

I've usually already said this by now, but I'm so busy and so tired out that my brain is not working properly. However, I'm still very pleased to be able to wish all forum members a very merry Christmas and a happy and successful new year.

A very happy Christmas and joyful and prosperous New Year to all, and thanks to all for being so wonderfully helpful.

When I've got the oven working again (I replaced the element last night, but the blown element appears to have caused a short on the switch, so I'll have to rig some sort of alternative switch up) maybe I'll be allowed to cook up some compo on the stove. New Year, New Fun!

Here's something that I rescued out of a bin, in four pieces and missing chunks, and gave some TLC to. Santa, if you're reading, I'd like some compo moulds to make the dentil-type pattern on the outside and the pattern on the inside and then I can have a good chance at doing something like this from scratch.

Hi Robo been on the Queen Mary - lots of people waiting for God!! You like me are far too young for that.

One thing I did not mention was I could not have got this far without the help of all of you guys. Well I have not got THAT far, but you know what I mean.

Indeed, I'm just going in for a few hours this morning (I really really do not want to).

The amount of knowledge/advice/banter on here is just incredible, actually I think it's the first thing I look at when I fire up the browser :D

So, yes, anyway - the Mrs has been calling me to leave for the past few mins so I'm off before her patience runs out . Happy Xmas guys & gals, I hope everyone has a nice safe & well deserved relaxing break. All the best :)

Happy Christmas to you all. I'm glad you say Christmas because I tire of the all inclusive brigade who refer to "Happy Holidays" for fear of offending. I could do a whole sermon on that.
May 2016 is the time I chuck in the salary and go full time framing. The forum has and continues to be of great value full of helpful advice, humorous banter and the odd tell tale sign of drink!
Long may it thrive.
