Having normally spent quite some time planning glass cutting with a pencil and paper in order to minimise waste, AR glass being quite expensive and all that, I was interested to see somebody post a link to downloadable trial software the other day that would get the most number of pieces out of the least material.
Having had a good trawl of the 'net, I have found an online program that is free. http://www.optimalon.com
Have had a merry time trying it, and am impressed. (You can pay to upgrade, but for what I want it's as much as I need.)
Give it a go! I've just tried it with 10 pieces of glass and it's used 84% of three sheets of glass. I can see this saving me money.
