Shop front

Post by baughen »

This morning I had to take my van for a MOT. As there was a couple of hours to spare I walked into the nearby town. On the way back I noticed a Framing shop. Although it had a large sign outside saying it was a Picture Framing shop most of it was hidden by a bush or tree. I realised that on the way into town I had missed it completely. I went across and looked in the windows. Apart from the windows looking dirty it looked like most of the work was partially bleached. The shop was open and somebody working there.
I don't know whether this shop has an excellent reputation or a poor one. I wonder how many potential customers turn back before reaching the door (as I would have done)? And do the proprietors realise the situation?
I'm just raising this as an observation. And as this location is a considerable distance away from my home there is no question of knocking the local competition.
