I have some mdf signs thatmeasure 24cm x 18cm and want to hang these as flush as possible. It's a quirky wall sign that is 25mm deep and also acts as a dog lead hanger (I guess some people depending on how they hang these might use them as a multi purpose hanger. I understand this isn't a standard frame but it would still require the same type of hanger as would be used on frame.
I was going to use 2 circular keyhole hangers but the work I'm already putting onto these frames is a little time consuing added to the fact I need to add a black felt adhesive sheet onto the back of mdf to cover excess paint that has dribbled over the back. Because of this it makes adding the keyhole hangers a little more difficult as I would need to then cut 3cm holes into the adhesive unless I can just drill straight through the felt but I would not be able to see how deep i'm going into the mdf so therefore need an alternative type of easy fixing preferably on both sides of the mdf.
Would 2 x D Rings be suitable to hang something like this whereby the mdf might be moved a little each time something is put on and taken off the hanger? If these would be suitable where abouts do they normally sit either side...would they be at the very top or in the middle at sides?
Sorry I'm still a bit of a newbie at all this...

Would Springlock be suitable? I fitted Springlock to some pictures that hang in a public building. The pictures are flush to the wall and the fixings aren't visible.
