A the beginning of last year I purchased 2 badger hair
Softening brushes from A S Handover. A grand total of £9 plus
Postage. The only ones I can find now are in the £20-30 each range.

Any ideas for other suppliers?

Thanks

There's a few on e-bay at around £16 for a 3" brush. You certainly had a bargain previously from Handover. What happened to the two you bought?

I get by with Harris Easy-Cleans and cheapo Silverline disposable brushes.

Actually, in a lot of HF situations the crapper the brush the better.

Different people will prefer different brushes, I use various types including 1/2 inch wide glue brushes as they are great for stippling.
