Downpipe - fillet and slip storage

Post by Pheasant »

I was in discussion with a supplier recently and they hadn't heard of the solution I use for storing fillets and slips - square down pipe screwed to the ceiling - so I thought I would share in case of interest to others.
I cut a three large holes with a hole saw equally spaced along the 2.4 m lengths to enable access to put screws in and to let me see what was hiding in the down pipe.

"Cracking idea" and a excellent use of space.

Once the down pipe is installed many valuable hours would be saved finding what you require straight away rather than hunting through piles or stacks of fillets and slips stored in other ways.
