How do you know when to get a new Wedge Distributor Block? Are there recognisable signs of wear and tear? I have a CS199 and it struggles to insert two softwood wedges into obeche, or its equivalent. I did not buy the machine new so I don't know if this is the limit of the machine or if it's simply that the wedge distributor block is worn and needs replacing (I'm using a new hammer). My old Euro machine was capable of stacking 7 wedges - when I could source original Euro wedges. What is the experience of other Cassese underpinner users......what is the maximum number of wedges you can stack into a 75mm deep moulding and which Cassese model are you using?
