Just want to say hi!

Post by w00dward »

Hi!

I've been lurking here for a few weeks now and have got up the courage to register and say hello.

I'm just starting off in framing and am going to start it as a hobby and hopefully heading into something more. At the moment I'm a IT manager and its an industry I just want to get out of.

If I get stuck on anything I hope you don't mind some stupid questions being asked.

Anyway, cya around. :)

Paul.

Hi Paul,

Welcome to the forum.

You will find a lot of very helpful folk here, as I'm sure you have already noticed.

Don't be afraid to ask, we've all been there. You might be able to field a few IT questions in return.

Cheers John.

I'd certainly help with IT stuff where I can. I was a little shocked to see how many people use no wireless security and have little in terms of backups etc.

I'm looking around for training and have found 2 places which do some courses in the Midlands. Has anyone heard of DIYFraming and FrameCo?

Found out that Lions are only 30 minutes from my work. Could I buy from them even though I don't have my own business yet?

Anyway, rambling on.. Best go, boss coming!

Paul.

Hi Paul and welcome to the forum
Has anyone heard of DIYFraming and FrameCo
I spent 2 years teaching for DIY Framing and currently teach for Frameco in the North East. If you would like to email me I can give you more details on both companies as they both have good and bad points that I dont want to discuss on an open forum.
Found out that Lions are only 30 minutes from my work.
I don't think there will be a problem so long as you are buying in quantity, but might be an idea to have a business name.

Hi Paul,

If you make a personal visit to Lion you can purchase any quantity of moulding, single sheets of mountboard etc.

Best wishes,
Arthur.
