Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone had any top tips for books on the history of frames and frame design? I already have Paul Mitchell and Lynn Roberts
A History of European Picture Frames, but was rather disappointed that it was mainly line drawings, with very few photos of full frames.

Yes, I've seen Richard's list. Problem is, there's too much choice!

I have a few of them. Personally I liked Hedenrick's The Art and History of Frames, and Italian Renaissance Frames by the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
