Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone had any top tips for books on the history of frames and frame design? I already have Paul Mitchell and Lynn Roberts
A History of European Picture Frames, but was rather disappointed that it was mainly line drawings, with very few photos of full frames.

Re: books
Richard Christie has compiled a vast list of frame books:

Re: books
I have a few of them. Personally I liked Hedenrick's The Art and History of Frames, and Italian Renaissance Frames by the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
