Have spoken to repairers and it can be fixed, but we aren't technical enough to do it ourselves. Spares can be bought to fix.

These are excellent machines, I have the 486 Ultra. Anyone looking for a top machine, I'd grab this, take it straight to an engineer for a fix and service and enjoy years of joining. It's way over the top for my low volume setup but I don't regret it! You program it for wedge placement, adjust the fences for the perfect join and away you go. The beauty is that the moulding doesn't move, the hammer and wedge block move to the correct position. It's even better than the CS199 or 299.
