Hi there,

I've been looking to get boxes similar to these for a while, but not managed to source anyone that sells them. I would definetly be intersted in buying these of you, but am not opening up shop for a few months, so wont need any for quite a while. Would you mind letting me know where you got them from? If so that would be a great help!

I bought the remaining stock and machinery from a large picture framers that closed down. I don't know where they got them from i'm afraid.

I have a very large quantity of these, way to many for what I need so if you still need some in a few months, let me know and I am happy to do a deal on some

Ah, that's a shame. I expect they got them produced especially as that's the only way toget them that we found.
I'll prob get in touch when we set up, but it might be a problem if I launch this packaging as an option without having the means to get new supplies when they run out.

Are they suitable for posting frames? I'm making my own on the CMC at the moment and these might be a good alternative.

I'm guessing looking at them that they are only single wall board, so they wouldn't be suitable for posting - not sturdy enough.

These type of boxes have to be made from a form, which is the costly part of producing them even though it's a one off fee. However you would need a form for every size you required.

I've been developing a prototype of one of these boxes for quite a while now, which all being well will be adjustable in size to accommodate a range of differing sized frames therefore cutting down on the need to have loads of different sized boxes. I'm hoping that i'll have a product to launch later this year, fingers crossed!

Hi,
These are good and cheap and you can build your own size with only minimum of 25 boxes.

The sides of the box are very strong once folded up but I add another piece of cardboard or 2mm mdf to protect glass, then just a bit of packaging around the frame.
