Lacing & sewing kit

Post by Roboframer »

Due to previous requests for crochet cotton and other not-so-easy to find items, I've put together a kit that contains all you need for lacing needlework of all types and also for support sewing.

It all comes in a lovely pink polka dot bag*

Top-bottom, left-right ...
Crochet cotton No 8 and 5*, knitting cotton* (for heavier things e.g. needlepoints on canvas mesh) H duty needle threaders, standard needle threaders. Standard sewing cotton (polyester actually but cotton if preferred/as well as) white, black & beige. Button thread (green top) black & white, glass head pins (approx. 95) assorted needles ball point and sharp, fabric eraser. Correx disc bag separator, one piece of lightweight calico approx. 1m by 48" - for working on and/or for sewing extensions.

Oh and these ...

It all fits in to the bag and then you put the correx separator on top, your ball of cotton on top of that, thread it through the eyelet and zip it up - that prevents the ball rolling all over the place getting minging.

Believe it or not, that little lot comes to £52:28 plus £5 p&p.

We can tailor the kit by leaving things out or adding other things you may need.

*Colours/design may vary

That looks great!

I normally use galvanised T-Pins and AF Foam Bd, but some new customers are requesting lacing.

Will take 1 kit - I'll send you a PM/email

Thanks,

Stephen

I use the No 5 for most counted fabrics like aida and the No 8 for plain fabrics (that have to ne pierced) like calico but also for finer counted fabrics like linen.
