For Sale - Morso blades and System 4000

Post by simoonez »

Hi all,

I have 5 pairs of Morso blades, some are sharp some are not so I think best move is to consider them all in need of a sharpen.
£50 per pair or £200 for all 5 pairs.

The System 4000 sheet material cutter is in working order but needs some tlc. A new glass cutting head is required and there's a bolt missing from the handle.
£200, buyer to collect from North Dorset (SP8)

I will be posting photos up shortly, just as soon as I can get my phone to speak to my laptop..

Thanks, Simon.

HI interested in the blades - how good condition are they. How many times sharpened from new?

My apologies for the delay, had a few problems (unrelated) which didn't give me time to sort this out.

Hopefully I've measured these correctly. What I've done is measure from the blade edge to what I assume is the wear line on the flat side of the blade.
To give it context, my new blades measure 27mm. Now I've done this and realised their differing 'wear' I feel that I can only sell them as a set of 5 pairs. Otherwise I should be selling per mm of blade left just to make it fair...

Set 1 is 22mm
Set 2 is 22mm
Set 3 is 17mm
Set 4 is 7mm
Set 5 is 7mm

There are a couple of minor chips on one pair (I think it was the 17mm pair), the others seem sharp.
Price is £200 plus postage. Combining all the blade widths its nearly the equivalent of 3 new sets of blades. Bargain I reckon.
