Display velvet

Post by lynnbmack »

I have a customer who wants some medals displayed on blue velvet - where is the best place to purchase a small quantity of this online? I don't have exact size yet as have still to see the medals "in the flesh" and measure up, but would like to know I can source the materials needed.

Look on ebay for fat quarters, that should be enough for your needs.......

This one may be a bit light, but if you contact the seller you may get what you need.

Hi Lynn,

If you have trouble sourcing the blue velvet, Arqadia's suedette boards make a good alternative, fwiw.

Hi Guys,
I get my wife and Jane my business partner to have a look in charity shops and junk shops for old velvet curtains, you can get them cheap and you can store them for future jobs.
