Trucut Alpha - Vacuum bed

Post by misterdiy »

We are semi-retiring and now no longer require our CMC.

It is a Trucut Alpha with vacuum bed purchased by us fully reconditioned from Trucut in 2011.

It has been regularly serviced by Trucut and is in excellent working order. Machine comes with dedicated computer running Windows Vista (never connected to the Internet) and includes a head for cutting thick mountboard (3500 micron is easily coped with) plus a brand new spare head. There are also some blades included.

This is a very quick machine, typically cutting a sheet of triple aperture 10" x 8" mounts in 10 minutes.

Also included in the sale are approximately 600 mountboards (Arqadia, Nielsen and Centrado), machine files for our mounts, and dedicated compressor (also 2011)

Price: £8500 + VAT

That should read a full sheet of 8" x 6" mounts (25 in total) in 10 minutes. Not 10x8

Slight change to the spec. After counting, there are approximately 300 mountboards. All Arqadia, Neilsen, Centrado

Adding a little more substance to Johns post, we have spoken to JWP Industries and it is their intention to build on the brand. Currently they have a person available to answer queries (like Bob did) and they are able to lift and shift the machines should people want it moved professionally. Also they can service the machines too.

It was my impression from speaking with them that they are going to develop the brand.
