Re: Morso Rebate Supports
Hello Dave
I'm interested in the rebates. How do I pay you? I've never bought through Framers Forum before.

Re: Morso Rebate Supports
Good evening Dave
Just checked my rebate supports because the ones you are selling look good I noticed that mine have two nuts and not one. Is there a reason for this difference
BTW I like your web site

Re: Morso Rebate Supports
Pete, yours have a locking nut on the top. You set the bottom nut in place and then you screw the top nut hard against the bottom nut. That means that the bottom nut will not move. Otherwise, during production, the vibrations will mean the bottom nut moves and the rebate support ceases to be at the right level.
OP's have lost the locking nuts.

Hi James
The locking nuts are still to be found to be honest I have been using these for years like this and it is actually easier without them.

James, thanks for the explanation I must confess I never new that even after all these years of frame making.
When I had my shop we often did small production runs (couple of hundred or so) and that info' then would have been very useful
With the set up I have now and the individual work I am doing I agree with Dave it's easier (and quicker) without them.
