With the topic about table saw, I realised that I have a kity table saw which needs some tlc, but works. I used to use it as it is, but replaced it with a cast iron machine.
The blade is a 250mm freud blade (I use these on alk my machines), and the only problem is with the raise/drop mechanism so the blade is always at full height.
I have seen that it needs a pin or something simple to get this working and then it will work a treat.
It is an induction motor so is quiet, and the fence does not move (a problem with cheaper machines)
If this would be of use to anyone, you can have it for free.
