Selling on behalf of a framer friend. little used keencut Oval 6 and excellent condition, inclusive of the optional craftsman toolset.

As well as cutting ovals and circles in mount board, with the craftmans set you are able to emboss, pen lining, cut 'V' grooves and cut glass. Also comes with the manual

It's a great bit of kit for £175.00 or very near offer OVNR.

Thanks Steve

I am told this is a very capable piece of kit, it's in great condition and very cheap for what it is and based on what it cost new.

Sorry Mike, you're right, it is a great bit of kit, if you haven't got a CMC then you could do with this if you want to do offer something more than a regular mount cutting and as you say it's a good price

You have not mentioned that it can be used for cutting backs to fit oval frames. I've never heard of one needing spares, or getting worn out. I am an Oval 6 owner and although it's not used every day, it's been worth having and in my opinion vital for my business.

I'm surprised that no one has shown any interest. As has been already said "it's a great price", I bought mine about 18 to 20 years ago as second hand and paid £400 for mine. Great piece of kit at a great price, ideal and useful for anyone currently starting out.

Hi All

Still for sale. I think I need to be more clear about the size and weight of this machine. You will need a large hatchback or estate car to collect this. It needs a 2 man lift, I will help out there.

The price is very keen, it is just the transportation that is putting people off. To help out, I have been advised to let it go for £160 final price with NO further offers please.

I'm a little surprised that no one has gone for this. I still get asked to frame oval artworks and other items in oval mounts, admittedly not on a massive scale, but particularly if you are in a well heeled up market location, I would not think that it will take very long to recover the cost of buying an oval mountcutter at an asking price like this.

I already have one of these myself, so I don't actually need one, but for those who are not going to get a CMC, this still may be worth considering as a potentially useful item.

Thanks Mark

I have had a few interested but they all seem to be from the other side of the planet, so transport is the big issue. I'm sure anyone in a 50 to 60 mile radius who was interested it would have gone.

Summer is here and I guess people are thinking or taking their holidays.

I have not pushed it really on any other platforms.
