Mount decoration/washlines/fench matting

Post by poliopete »

I am wondering if anyone who in the past, did mount decoration/washlines etc, and who longer does this, would consider selling their old kit.

I interested in buying any items used in the above techniques. These would include small tools, beveled rules, decorative papers, paints/brushes etc.

Please pm me or phone 01406 550021.

Thank you in advance.

Barry S, thank you for your help :D

By way of an explanation as to why I want to purchase these items.

I am organising some mount decorating classes for some special people. The groups will be small, only 4/6 attendees at a time and I would like to provide them with the essential bits and pieces required.

My motivation for this was the recent mount decoration presentation I attended generously given by Mal R

Hi Pete
I would have let you have mine, but can't remember where I put the stuff :sweating: :Slap: , the pens would be no use to you, as they have worn into my way of using them, just like the old fountain pens, the nibs would ware down

Hope you find some for this good project

PS have you seen any of the work by Brian Wolf, he done some great stuff with paint using paper towels and bits of cotton and 3M 811 magic tape, he was my mentor in mount decoration ,

Hi Steve :D

Thanks anyway, I am sure I will get enough from somewhere for what I want.

Also, thanks for the tip about Brian Wolf. As I know nothing about him should I Google him? or can you point me in the right direction?
