Supplier for mountboard: B35?

Post by asgawth »

I am trying to locate a supplier for a particular mountboard.

It has the ID code: B35
It has a black core and a plain grey base (with no logo's or id of any sort)
The front is a light cream colour with little obvious grain/pattern.

I've done quite some digging around the web but cannot see anything that uses such an ID code.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thank you,
Andrew

Only boards I can find with that number are blue or green and not blackcore.

My selectors are probably way out of date though.

Have you got a full sheet? If so, US boards tend to be 32x40 rather than 32x44. Might narrow the search a bit.....

Thanks for looking.

Unfortunetly, all I have is an offcut from when I had some photographs mounted a year ago. :(

Could it be 835 instead of B35? It vaguely rings a bell. Old Aquarti number maybe?

That number may not be the board ref. It might be a batch number. :?:

Now I read your post again I notice you say it has a grey back. Sounds like Crescent. Bainbridge blackcore has a black back, Crescent is more charcoaly on the back. And is very dense compared with other makes.

I was begining to wonder if it might be something like:

B - Black core
35 - A shop defined card/colour/sample index

Anyway, thanks for the info on Crescent. Will Google their web site and have a look.

Thanks,
Andrew
