Framing Equipment for sale

Post by Gesso&Bole »

Hello All

It's been a while since I last posted on here!

I have some very under-used framing equipment for sale.

Framers Corner Mitreing Machine
I have had this machine from new, approximately 10 years. In that time I have made a maximum of 20 frames a year! So this is still in showroom condition. Is it as good as a Morso? As far as build quality/thickness of metal/re-sale value? - No. As far as quality of cut/does it do the job? - Yes. I suppose it is similar to a car - I have a friend who regularly teases me for 'wasting' money on an expensive German car when his Dacia Duster does exactly the same job for a third of the money. This will do exactly what you need it to do, and save you money. - £400

Framers Corner M4 Underpinner
Same age and usage as the mitreing machine. This is pretty much 'as new'. It is actually a very capable underpinner with a very strong clamping mechanism. This is ideal for a low-volume professional operation. It comes with a few boxes of wedges. £250

Fletcher 2200 Mountcutter
This is a top quality professional mountcutter. I bought this second-hand, but in mint condition from a framer who had never used it - he kept it as a back up in case his CMC broke down. So it had the first couple of years of it's life wrapped in bubble-wrap waiting for a CMC break-down, which presumably never came, and then I've had it for 10 years. In that time I've probably cut less than 100 mounts on it. (It still has some of the original trial set of blades supplied with a new machine!). It also has the optional lift and hold system. £500

I am based in Derbyshire. The machines can be seen working, I can even provide some training. Collection only. Will see if anyone wants all 3 before splitting.
I've priced these keenly, as I have new equipment on the way.
