EXPERIENCED PICTURE FRAMER WANTED TO HELP START FRAMING WORKSHOP IN GALLERY- PART TIME - START WITHIN ONE MONTH

BSMT is an Urban Art Gallery based in Dalston. Having relocated to a new space last year we are now in the position to set up our own picture framing studio and are looking for someone to join our team. We have been an art gallery for 5 years and would like to offer picture framing and canvas stretching alongside the exhibitions we run at the gallery. We are dynamic and personable and this will be a unique opportunity to create an efficient and creative studio within the gallery. The successful candidate must be competent in all aspects of framing and be able to produce work to the highest standards required by our clients.

The candidate should have 2-3 years professional framing experience and be able to work across the entire framing production process. Assistance in advising clients in all aspects of choosing the right frame type that works with their artwork would also be a prerequisite. 
Being able to work autonomously and unsupervised would also be essential. As we are building the studio from scratch the work would be on a part time basis until the workload increases. This is an opportunity to help create an ideal framing environment within an exciting gallery space, an option to diversify your practice with negotiable hours.
