Looking for a saw

Post by StevenG »

ok, I think I need a saw - a nice 2nd hand Cassese 969 seems to be what I need. I'd be interested to hear if anyone has one for sale :)

I thank you
Steven

I’ve got an old 939MA that I’m thinking of parting with. But I’m a long way from you!

I did look at the 939 but my problem is that the saw needs to come through a standard door frame! From what I've found is that the 939 won't fit :( Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm under the impression that the front panel on the 969 comes off - leaving it 'slim' enough to pass through the gap. Thanks for the offer anyway btw :)

I don’t know about the standard 939 (or the 969) but the 939ma (mine) definitely does not fit through a doorway, this is the reason I’m selling mine. I bought it, got it back to my workshop and couldn’t fit it in! So it sits unloved and unused in a storage area.
