Re: Pistorius Underpinner for sale
Hi Jeremy.
I'm not in the market for an underpnner as I already have one, but I think you may be under selling this machine. Suitable for low volume? Well, these were a favorite machine with contract framers at one time and they were always about high volume. Contract framers liked then because you could work these machines in to the ground for years and years and they never broke down. They were very reliable and some more, they just never quit!
Suitable for beginners? I think suitable for anyone, wanting a manual underpinner! When I bought my last underpinner, I would have gladly bought one of these and all these years later, they are still as quick to use as any other available manual underpinner. As far as I know they probably did not have the capacity to use 12mm and 15mm wedges, these size wedges were not even available when many of the earlier machines were first made, but stacking wedges was just as normal in those days as now.
Anyone looking for an underpinner at an affordable price, which won't quit on you, this is very good candiate! Built like a tank? Yes and reasuring heavy as well. a totally engineered design with no pedal cable to worry about breaking, these machine use a heavy duty bicycle chain. Indestructable? It's probably the most indestructable underpinner ever built. If I needed to replace my existing machine a Pistorius would be high on the list. Getting spare parts? You won't need them, thy don't go wrong.
Over the years I have recommended these to many others, as far as I know no one ever regreted buying one of these. For those setting up on a limited budget, this is an unbeatable choice!

Last Chance!
Is this of any use to anyone before I call the scrap man to come and take it away?
Seems a shame to scrap it, but I really do need the room
