Wanted: Library of Professional Picture Framing Vol 5 Mounting Methods

Post by gavinr »

Looking to buy a used copy of Vivian Kistlers book 'Mounting Methods' which is Vol 5 of the Library of Picture Framing Series.

I'd also be interested in other volumes from this series.

Thanks

As you've probably found, these books rarely come up at an affordable price. My advice is to put a saved search on ebay. It's taken me a few years to collect them, but eventually they have come up for between £10 and £30 each, rather than the often available £100 each!!
Conservation Framing by Annabelle Rushton has a good section on hinging (available from FATG) and I believe there will be some demos on hinging techniques and platform mounting at the FATG Stratford weekend in May. Tudor Rose tells me that this year will be the biggest table top training event yet.
