Blow Gun Recommendations and Supplier Needed

Post by Moglet »

Hi all,

Now that I've got the compressor, I'd like to add a blow gun to my new set of toys. Can anyone recommend a good model, whether an extension arm is a worthwhile addition, and any other useful features that I should look for?

Also, can anyone recommend where to purchase same? (Screwfix don't ship to Ireland, btw.)

Cheers! :)

Áine,
I recommend that you get one with a trigger or a button in the place where a trigger would go. The ones with a button on the top are a pain in the a#@e to use.

Look for an 'Air Tool' business or supplier to the woodwork or the panel beating/body shop industry in your area.

Here are a few that you could check out:

Hope that helps!

Got my latest new toy today, and it's great. Make is Bergen, pistol-style trigger action, and has a built-in regulator to control the strength of the air jet. An excellent buy! :)

Don't forget to put a filter in the line to trap moisture which you certainly do not want gushing out onto someone's artwork!
