cardboard frame boxes -but with handles?
Similar to garment boxes? can find plenty of frame boxes and other suitable and tasetful boxes, postal boxes, etc from my usual suppliers, even some coloured ones - but my customer wants handles on them to present his framed work to his clients in.

Ring 01332 821200 and ask to speak to John. He's a cardboard boxes expert at http://www.davpack.co.uk. I know you can get some plastic handles that clip onto the box so it should be doable.

There was a similar post a while ago.
A member called "Vix" is in the packaging trade and here is a link to her (assuming female gender) company website:

Yes John,
I am of the female gender although i can talk in a deep voice when required !
Kev,
I've been looking into the plastic handles myself. I know of one firm that do them but they're rather 'pricey' and some of the handles aren't very good at doing what they're supposed to. I'll do a little bit more research and see if i can come up with anything for you.

Re: cardboard frame boxes -but with handles?
I am quite interested in these too... although for packaging my canvas prints which, with 'U' foam corners have a depth of 7.5cm's.
Sizes up to 36" x 36"....
I have seen a handled presentation box that Kaleidoscope-Framing.co.uk use which accommodates a number of frame sizes with cut-outs in the corners that you can pop out... but they won't tell me where they get them from. Don't blame them really as they probably had to pay a fortune for the tooling costs in the first place.
Any help appreciated
Chris

Re: cardboard frame boxes -but with handles?
Hi Kev
what sort of size frames are you wanting to put in the boxes and how heavy are they likely to be? Most of the plastic handle samples i've had sent to me look as though they'd only be suitable to take smaller sized frames ie. no bigger & heavier than a 20" x 16".
