Heated Vacuum Press spare

Post by WelshFramer »

I have an ancient Ademco heated vacuum press which I no longer need.

I bought it a few years ago on eBay and it's served me well though it's recently started acting up. Sometimes it just won't pull a vacuum. Most days it's absolutely fine. I suspect the problem is just that the lid needs adjusting - maybe the hinges are a bit loose - but I just don't feel inclined to spend the time it would take to sort it out. Once it starts to pull a vacuum then it's absolutely fine and easily reaches 26 "Hg pressure. It has a pair of vacuum pumps that (I believe) are only a few years old.

Anyway, I've had my money's worth from it - it cost me about £200 so it's free to a good home.

The downside is that it will need collecting and it absolutely must go next week - otherwise it goes to the tip. The overall measurements are 45 x 54 x 9 inches and it's very heavy. So it needs a fair sized vehicle.

And it's in the middle of Wales.

Hi Mike,

Is it still available? If so yes please!
Thanks,
Mark.

OK. It's yours.

See PM.

BTW. No sooner had I posted the message than the press, which had been playing up all morning, started working perfectly!
