Wanted Pnumatic Underpinner and Fletcher 3100

Post by Oxyhome »

Hi all.

I am just new to this site as I am setting-up a new framing shop. I am looking for used equipment. Any one needing to get rid of something, please help. The list is as follows:

Minigraf M44 Underpinner
Fletcher 3100 wall mounted multi-cutter
Hotpress col roll laminator
Hotpress HGP vacuum laminator

Anything I can use to display moulding and mountboard samples? suggestions Please.

Thank guys for your help.

I have carpet tiles stuck to the wall (looped type carpet) to display the moulding samples (with a bit of Velcro on the back of the samples) works a treat.

First moulding display boards we made were 4ft x 2ft pieces of 6mm MDF (cut to size by local builders merchant) covered in display fabric. Best display fabric we found was from Mitrecraft in Lincoln, black colour, really nice dense fibre and sticky backed but needs at least two people to apply without getting creases. They do a grey one but its not a good as the black.

Once the display fabric is stuck on just plonk a frame around it. Lion do L shaped velcro to stick on your chevrons, convenient but a bit pricey.

If you want a 'minimal' display system, get a roll each of velcro hook and loop tape. Stick the loop along strips of 1" wide x 1/4" thick wood (Rose and Hollis do a variety of plain obeche strips) and simply screw them vertically to the wall. It's cheap, neat and keeps all the chrevrons in line. :D

It's a good idea to staple the hook fabric to the chevrons.
