Diasec Course

Post by gregbot »

Hi there,
So strange that there is no course nor any training for the Diasec technique communicated in Europe. Do they protect their technique? It's patented but shouldn't be hidden and protected from others like the coke recipe ^^
I am looking for paying someone to train me to this technique anywhere in Europe :-) and I can't find it. Can be in English or French.
Thanks for your help by advance if you can lead me in any direction or if you know why this knowledge is not shared.
Regards,
Greg

Thanks Mark, I have also read a Thesis about Diasec. But this is theory. What I am looking for is a technical and practical training.

Mark was maybe trying to inform others that didn't have a clue what diasec was.
What about contacting Diasec in the Netherlands and asking them who has the license in France to ask if training is available.

Am i missing something with this?

Can't you get the same results with a hotpress Jetmounter?

May be worth chatting to Steve Goodall at Wessex, i'm sure he could help

Not at all, Diasec is a sandwich like system glued with silicon. Usually it is dibond/photo/silicon/anti UV plexiglass and it's 100 years guaranted. So far I didn't find any better service wordwide. If there is any I am curious to know it :-) !
