Simons moulding prices on spreadsheet

Post by Beau »

Does anyone have the Simons moulding prices on spreadsheet?

I am considering using more of the D J Simons mouldings but I use my own pricing spreadsheet that looks up the prices of Wessex and Mainline mouldings from other spreadsheets. Simons have supplied me with the prices in a PDF file which I am discovering is too long winded to get into a spreadsheet.

Simon's (Gawd bless 'em) have always been a bit of a law unto themselves. I have been buying stuff from them for 30+years and I still haven't figured out the price list.
I've had Simon's reps who struggle with it. :giggle:

I would have to say that the chances of getting the prices on a spreadsheet are best described as slim.

Beau,

Attached is the downloaded Simons moulding table from BBEst. The second column is the price in pounds per 100ft (?!!!?). Hope this helps.

See, they're not that bad after all, they also support Framiac which uses spreadsheets, and the prices will be per metre on that one!

The prices in EstLite/BBEst moulding table is stored in pence per metre.

Simons, together with all of the major UK moulding suppliers, and most minor ones as well, have been supporting EstLite and BBEst for many years with digital versions of their price lists. They also provide digital images of their stock to assist framers with a convenient way to identify their mouldings through EstLite.

An updated Simons moulding table is imminent (within the next week) and will be immediately available for download to all BBEst and EstLite users as soon as it becomes available.

Ah but what appears in their price list and on their invoice are two very different things in many cases :giggle: :giggle:

Wow - thanks to all for the great responses.

I have downloaded the csv file from your post - thank you very much Jon.
So an update is available. I have been on the Estlite site and cannot find a place to download a csv file. I downloaded bbestsetup.exe without thinking :Slap: -- it is no use to me as I run old Apple Macs.
It would be great if I could rely on getting updates to the csv file, so a link to such a download page would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again folks.
