Delivering Frames to Netherlands

Post by Uncle Sumo »

Hi all. Can anyone recommend a courier / delivery firm for transporting 3 frames 105cm x 75cm to Rotterdam, Netherlands? Cheers.

You could drive to Hull and take them on the ferry. :?

That might not be as silly as it sounds.

Cheaper than Prospero's suggestion would be to unframe them and send them for reframing in the Netherlands. Which might turn out to be your best bet...

I might also ask, what are the pictures worth, and what are the frames worth. As of course you could just send by parcelforce or suchlike. Take the glass out if you're paranoid.

Pick up some baccy and booze while you are over there, and it will pay for the trip.
