Railway print wholesalers

Post by lampie512 »

Hi all.
I'm selling open edition railway/aviation/general nostalgia type prints and the trainspotters are asking if I can get hold of any prints of diesels. All my railway prints from the wholesalers I use are of steam locos and I am struggling to find any open edition prints of diesel locomotives. ( UK)
Does anyone know where I can source any open edition prints, ( paintings not photos)?

All help and advice regarding "nostalgia not being what it used to be" welcome.

All the best, and thanks in anticipation,
Nige

You could try Cranston Fine Arts they have lots of railway stuff, mostly steam, but they do have the odd diesel, I think.

Try the Guild of Railway Artists - one of their members local to us (Philip Hawkins) does steam and diesel locos but mainly steam, but some of the others may be of use. Would probably be worth a look anyway.

Thankyou guys.
I have found a few prints of diesels which I will be letting people know I can get for them if required.

There's certainly nothing like the amount of choice that's available for the steam enthusiast though.

All the best,

Nige
