If you mount items with sticky stuff

Post by Roboframer »

.... don't feel too bad - Mercedes do too!

I found my rear number plate on the floor today, this is how it was fixed on ...

It was very warm and our drive is a suntrap, but still!

It will be screwed on tomorrow, by the dealer and like the front one is, because it is slightly curved. I was going to do it but if it is to match the front one with a screw at each corner it will need some drilling that I don't wannna do - plus they colour match the screw caps, blue on the left for the Eu bit.

Mercedes - who'd've thunk, eh?

In Merc's defence, it is archival-quality tape they use.

That's how mine was held on before it got nicked, bought a new one online, and it came with all the fitting (including the sticky pads) screws and the different coloured screw caps, so it's stuck and screwed

The glass in one of my back doors is held in with heavy-duty carpet tape. :giggle:
