Cassese Cs55m won't spring back!

Hi everyone,

I'm relatively knew to framing but the Cassese cs55m im using won't spring back to it's original start position.

I'm having to flick the foot pedal back up myself which is a major inconvenience.

Has anybody got any experience/advice on how to solve this problem
