The only problem with that is that the council are more than likely going to issue a fine and then it will be unto you to prove your innocence to revoke the fine.

Yea, I was never seriously going to do that. I've just had a quote from a company for £13.50 per uplift with no rental on the bin so I may give them ago.

That sounds cheap. Mine works out at about £60 a month for a 1100L bin emptied every other week including rental care of duty etc etc. When I had it emptied very week it was nearer £100 hence why I give the scout group all my card and mb offcuts to the school, saves me £500 a year.
