Tension spring

This is from my Euro underpinner - I do have a source for spares but he's on holiday! I'm also hoping he has not had a load made but this is a stock item somewhere (I've looked with no luck so far) and/or the same thing is used in other underpinners.

Wire diameter is about 3mm - coil diameter about 27mm and overall length about 550mm "

My machine uses two of these and it's working on one at the mo' - it can't keep that up for long.

There is a spring shop on every street corner in Sheffield, email your pic to one of them.

I've no idea how I worked that out, it's about 80mm!

Anyway a framer, and a Jolly Good one, has come to my rescue.
